D36 HIRE FLOOR GRINDER SINGLE HEAD TO GRIND AND POLISH CONCRETE FLOORS
This single head single-speed 110v floor grinder when fitted with correct diamonds can achieve a suitable finish to concrete and marble floors.
Use the metal bond diamond grinding shoes on a fast fix plate so easy to swap over, then use velcro adaptors to begin using polishing pucks to reach the desired finish up to 3000g.
- approx 1mm used on diamonds per 100m2
- up to 10m2 per day to achieve a polished concrete finish from 16grit to 3000grit

This first stage uses Metal-Bond diamond segments. fast fix
set of six shoes £60.00 per mm per set per stage
- 16grit - metal bond for 1st stage removal and exposure of surface - leaves scratches
- 30 grit metal bond for 2nd-stage grinding for surfaces that don't need 1st-stage
- 80-grit metal bond for 3rd stage grinding
Honing…
the second stage or phase uses Hybrid/Transition diamonds - velcro type -
set of six shoes £70.00 per mm per set per stage
- 50-grit resin bond = 1st stage honing
- 100-grit resin bond = 2nd stage honing
if densification is required it can normally be applied at this stage after 100 but before 200, densification products available on request.
Polishing…
this last stage uses the Resin Bond polishing pads to give the floor its incredible shine and reflection - velcro-type

- 200 grit resin bond 3rd stage polishing matt finish
- 400 grit resin bond 4th stage polishing - matt finish
- 800 grit resin bond 5th stage polishing - gloss finish
- 1500 grit resin bond 6th stage polishing - gloss finish
- 3000 grit resin bond 7th stage polishing - high gloss finish
